MoDOT to close EB I 44 ramp to NB I 55 overnight Monday, Tuesday

ST. LOUIS - Drivers who use eastbound Interstate 44 to travel into the city will need to use an alternate route early next week as crews will close the ramp from eastbound I-44 to northbound I-55 overnight for resurfacing work.

Crews will close all lanes on eastbound I-44 at the Layfayette exit (Exit 290B) Monday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 22 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

To detour around the closure, drivers can continue southbound on I-55 (Exit 290A), exit at Arsenal (Exit 206C), cross over the interstate and continue onto northbound I-55.
