On July 1, the Linn County Board of Supervisors voted to postpone second consideration of an ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances relating to Utility-Scale Wind Energy Conversion Systems. Second consideration is postponed until July 29 to allow Planning & Development staff time to gather feedback from industry experts regarding the ordinance language for debris cleanup, setbacks, noise, and the use of local labor. The updated ordinance language is available on the Planning & Development website.
