Sarasota Pulmonologists Join SMH’s First Physicians Group

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is pleased to welcome the Lung Associates of Sarasota team into First Physicians Group (FPG) this week.

With over 30 years of expertise in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, Lung Associates of Sarasota has delivered exceptional care for conditions such as asthma, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, and sleep apnea to residents of the Suncoast. As part of that practice's transition to Sarasota Memorial's FPG network this month, the Lung Associates team will continue providing the specialized care that patients have come to expect and rely on, but now with the backing of Sarasota Memorial and its longstanding commitment to provide comprehensive health care to the growing region.

Aside from a practice name change to First Physicians Group Pulmonology, the transition is designed to be seamless for patients. The pulmonology group will continue caring for patients at both their Sarasota and Venice practice locations:

  • First Physicians Group Pulmonology at Waldemere Medical Plaza
1921 Waldemere Street, Ste. 705, Sarasota, FL 34239
  • First Physicians Group Pulmonology at Venice Medical Office Building
200 Healthcare Way, Ste. 102, North Venice, FL 34275
