Letter follows continued public concern that CDC rule would negatively affect U.S-Canada border communities nationwide.<_o3a_p>
WASHINGTON - U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Susan Collins (R-ME) led a bipartisan group of 14 Senators in calling on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Dr. Mandy Cohen to delay the implementation of new regulations for the importation of dogs into the United States. These regulations will create obstacles for dog owners in the U.S. and Canada who frequently travel to and from the United States with their rabies-free dogs.###<_o3a_p>
