Many of our employees found they were able to modify their existing skills in a civilian setting with time and much patience.

"It's not immediate," said Matt, Senior Director, Global Military Sales and Strategy, Weapon Systems and a retired U.S. Army veteran who served for 27 years. "You'll have setbacks. You have to be willing to do what you always did. Hit the 'I believe' button and know it's going to be ok."

"I'm lucky to have been part of a great organization," he said about his time in the Army. "I love being part of a team, going out after common goals and objectives, trying to be better every day and learning from your mistakes. The Army is a great place where everybody can come together and work as a team. Textron Systems has a lot of similarities in terms of the community, family environment and the ability to be part of a great team."
