State Police Conduct Underage Drinking Initiative

On July 2, 2024, the New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative in Allegany County.

As a result of the initiative, the following locations were checked and found in compliance:

• Dollar General, 4836 NY-19 S., Belmont, NY 14813

• The Store, 3983 Main St., Scio, NY 14880

• Crosby's, 3948 Main St., Scio, NY 14880

• Dollar General, 98 Bolivar Rd., Wellsville, NY 14895

• 7 Eleven, 1 S. Main St., Wellsville, NY 14895

• Park Plaza Liquors, 14 Park Ave., Wellsville, NY 14895

• Shop 'N' Save, 455 Main St., Bolivar, NY 14715

• Deb's Lil' Deli, 2941 NY 305, West Clarksville, NY 14786

• Giant Food Mart, 72 Genesee St., Cuba, NY 14727

• Cuba Liquors, 4 Center St., Cuba, NY 14727

• B & R Food Mart, 18 South St., Cuba, NY 14727

• Dollar General, 5240 NY-305, Cuba, NY 14727

• Robo in Cuba, 92 Genesee St., Cuba, NY 14727

• Crosby's (Cuba), 66 Genesee St., Cuba, NY 14727

During these investigations, businesses are checked utilizing a Trooper in plain clothes and one or several underage operatives who cannot lie about their age or provide a false date of birth.
