New York, NY- Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace NHS is participating in Open House New York Weekend! There will be adjustments to the way visitors can see the historic rooms during this time.

From Friday, October 18th - Sunday, October 20th, ALL visitation will be "open house" style. This means that visitors will be able to see the historic rooms upstairs without being on a scheduled tour. Although regularly scheduled tours will not be running, staff will be standing by to provide information about the rooms, share the history of TR's childhood, and answer any questions about the site. The Birthplace is still open from 10-4 and is still completely free of charge.

Open House New York is a yearly citywide festival that opens over 200 businesses, museums, galleries, municipal buildings, and more to special access tours. The majority of OHNY is open access, including Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace, meaning you do not have a ticket to attend. For more information, please visit www.ohny.org.
