Veteran financial services professional Sekhar Pinapaka, has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as a financial advisor at the firm's Raleigh Village District office on Oberlin Road. Pinapaka brings 32 years of experience to the firm.

Before joining the firm, Pinapaka served as a cluster branch leader and vice president for Truist. He also served in various leadership roles for BB&T. He graduated with both his bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration before attending the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware and Georgetown University. Outside of work, Pinapaka is an active member of the Raleigh banking community, previously serving as a chairman for Truist's Triangle Region Asian/Pacific Islander Business Resource group, as well as the Truist/Town of Cary Diwali group. Additionally, he received commendation from the City of Raleigh with the Baker Lambert Award for Community Service.
