Resurfacing on several Pulaski County routes to begin next week…

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo - A multi-route project to resurface Pulaski County Routes Y, O and W will begin with grading on Route Y next week. One lane of Route Y will close starting Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, as contractors prepare for the construction of new 2-foot shoulders. Flaggers will direct traffic around the work zone. This work is expected to take two to three weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

After the grading on Route Y, the contractor will resurface all of Route O, followed by Route W. They will then return to Route Y to finish the new shoulders and resurface the route.

The entire project is expected to be completed by Nov. 1, 2024.

All work is weather-permitting and subject to change.

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the $2,499,892.16 contract to Willard Asphalt Paving Inc. during their November 2023 meeting.
