O&R Hosts First-Ever Electric Vehicle Partnership Awards, Honoring NY and NJ Partners

The accolades recognized various accomplishments, such as contractors who have assisted with the most at-home charging solutions, contractors who've installed the highest number of public charging stations, and contractors who've installed the most charging infrastructure in disadvantaged communities (DACs).

The Village of Florida was recognized with the "Local EV Infrastructure Excellence Award," which was presented to the municipality that installed the highest number of EV chargers throughout service area while proactively promoting eco-friendly transportation and reducing carbon emissions.

"We are honored to receive this award from Orange and Rockland. Our forward-thinking partnership not only provides our residents with clean energy charging options, but also helps protect our environment as well," said Florida mayor Daniel Harter, Jr.
