Jun 25, 2024 Megaphones as Musical Instruments

June 25, 2024 - Daniel Newman-Lessler, a lecturer for CSUCI's Performing Arts, Music, program, will perform a concert on Wednesday, June 26 at 8 p.m. at CSUCI's John Spoor Broome Library.
With a focus on the library as a musical playground and using megaphones as instruments, Newman-Lessler's concert will be held outdoors and will feature megaphone droning as the sun sets over the horizon. The performance is sponsored by the Center for Integrative Studies and will be the first in a series investigating the architecture and history of CSUCI's campus by appropriating its spaces as musical playgrounds.
No RSVP is required to attend. To learn more about CSUCI's Music program, visit https://performingarts.csuci.edu/programs/music-emphasis.htm.
