Mine incident occurred in Kalbajar region

Press services of the Ministry of Defense, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan report that on July 19, a mine incident occurred in an area, that is not cleared of mines, in the Agdaban village of the Kalbajar region.
As a result of the incident, Huseynov Khalifa Hasan, born in 1969, was blown up by an anti-personnel mine and was injured. Following him, Mammadov Samandar Aligama, born in 1978, sustained shrapnel wounds from the same mine's explosion.
Then, Garashov Rahim Ashraf, born in 1976, who came for help, sustained injuries of various severity due to the explosion of a second mine.
The Prosecutor's Office of Kalbajar region is investigating the fact.
