Andrews FCU Promotes Sr. VP of Accounting and Finance

Andrews Federal Credit Union recently announced that Yelena Gureyeva was promoted to the role of senior vice president of accounting and finance.

In this role, Gureyeva will lead a team of accounting and finance professionals, as well as guiding cross-functional teams to ensure the most efficient use of credit union resources. She will play a key role in strategic management and ensuring the credit union is positioned for long-term success, maximizing efficiency and creating competitive advantages.

According to the credit union's executive leadership team, this promotion is a natural progression based on Gureyeva's commitment to advancing the credit union's goals. "Since Yelena joined the credit union, she has made major and significant advances in our accounting and finance department," said Todd Olszowy, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Andrews Federal Credit Union. "Yelena's leadership and strategic efforts continue to position Andrews Federal for long-term financial success, and we know the credit union will benefit from adding her strategic knowledge and vision to our leadership team."

Gureyeva brings over 30 years of financial experience to this role, including leadership positions at large credit unions and media and entertainment companies. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and and master's degree in finance. Gureyeva is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant.
