On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Niger as they celebrate Republic Day.

We recognize the resilience of the people of Niger and the significant sacrifices they have made as Niger marks this milestone. The United States continues its long-standing support to Nigeriens in their development and democratic progress. Today, we reaffirm our partnership in support of the aspirations of the people of Niger.
