SCTE TechExpo 24 commences next week in Atlanta, and this year the conference will feature NCTA leaders who will discuss the latest innovation advances and key policy challenges facing the industry. \
Below are just a few panels looking at the critical issues that NCTA, cable broadband experts, and engineers will explore at the largest cable tradeshow in the Americas.
This year, NCTA is co-hosting the Technology Policy Track, which is designed to provide a better understanding of government and industry priorities. The track is bringing together government officials and industry leaders to explore public policy developments in areas such as spectrum, broadband, artificial intelligence, and security. NCTA's tech policy experts that will be speaking at panels include:
Where in the World are Broadband Programs Now?
National Spectrum Strategy Multi-Stakeholder Process and Status
Cybersecurity 2025: What Should We Expect?
Dr. Rikin Thakker, NCTA's Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Technology, will moderate a session focused on connectivity for the enterprise customer. The session is broken into two parts, with Cox's Principal Architect Jeff Hales presenting on the challenges and potential solutions to deploying IoT in a multi-dwelling setting, and Comcast Principal Engineer Robert Jaksa presenting on the company's next-gen wireless connectivity solutions at The Players Championship.
NCTA is also hosting a special event screening of its docufilm "Every Last Mile" which chronicles the physical and operational challenges that three construction crews faced as they tackled the daunting work of extending broadband some of America's most rural areas.
This year's SCTE TechExpo will be a hub of thought-provoking discussions and a showcase of cutting-edge technology. Register today and learn more about what's to come in Atlanta.
