The Dry Lake Solar Project, managed by NV Energy, represents a significant step toward renewable energy with a 150 MW capacity and a 400 MWh battery storage system, providing up to 100 MW of power for four hours. This initiative supports a shift from fossil fuels, aiming to power 24,000 homes with clean energy. Stanley Consultants was pivotal as the owner's engineer in this project, handling environmental permits, design and construction, while addressing challenges like cybersecurity, endangered species and soil conditions.

Stanley Consultants worked with the Central Florida Expressway and contractor AECOM to perform a solar sustainability study to evaluate the use of solar power in their existing system. The study considered the following sustainable development technologies: traditional photovoltaic solar, floating or wet pond solar, elevated or dry pond solar, rooftop solar, electric vehicle charging stations, noise wall solar, electric fleet and tire pressure monitoring evaluation and photovoltaic streetlights. Our team also conducted site evaluations for these new technologies. The recommended improvements will help save millions of dollars in costs.

Resilient Analytics, a Stanley Consultants Company, served as the climate risk consultant for a confidential client. The team was responsible for analyzing potential temperature changes across the southwest in a battery storage impact study.
