"Today's executive action from President Biden is good news. It is going to bring relief and protections for immigrants, noncitizens, spouses, and children of United States citizens that have been living in the United States for 10 years or more and have been contributing to our economy through their taxes," said Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz. "In addition, this executive action is going to expedite work visas for DACA recipients and other Dreamers so that they can contribute to our economy in an expedited fashion.

"This is not amnesty. This is necessary because of our broken immigration system and Republican obstructionist voting against comprehensive immigration reform.
