Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4300 Dreyfus Street

July 15, 2024- Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4300 Dreyfus Street about 5:20 p.m. on Saturday (July 13).

The identity of the deceased male, 31, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Wu and Officer D. Jones reported:

A white Dodge Ram 1500 TRX pickup traveling westbound near the above address failed to stay in a single lane, left the roadway and struck a metal fence. The pickup truck continued traveling westbound and struck a tree and three parked vehicles.

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the driver deceased.

It is believed alcohol was a factor in this crash. The investigation is continuing.
