Statement on West Acre Park High Court judgement

A High Court judge has today (Friday) handed down their judgement regarding the legal challenge by Greenfields (IOW) Ltd to the Isle of Council's decision to grant planning permission on the land known as West Acre Park, Ryde.

The judge, having considered all the submitted information, has dismissed the claim in full and the planning permission for the site therefore stands.

A council spokesperson said: "The judge has upheld the determination made by the council's Planning Committee. While we recognise the range of differing views about this application, the council respects the decision by the High Court."
