Social Media Threats

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is aware of several social media posts threatening violence against various school sites throughout the region. The Sheriff's Threat Management Unit has deemed these posts and messages non-credible and appear to be part of a social media "trend" throughout the country. We will continue to monitor these activities and work with regional school districts along with our local, state, and Federal law enforcement partners to ensure the safety of all students in our community.
