Dublin City Council joins the Local Government National Online Planning Portal

Dublin City Council is joining the National Online Planning Portal. Planning permission in Ireland is moving towards a paperless and environmentally friendly domain where applicants have 24/7 access to their planning applications.

The Local Government National Online Planning Portal was designed to streamline the application for planning permission across all Local Authorities in Ireland. The online portal is easy-to-use and is environmentally friendly. You can register your own account, submit documents online with your application and submit further information if required.

The last date for making a planning application on Dublin City Council's current online service is Wednesday 4th September 2024 at 23.59hrs. From 09:00hrs on Monday 9th September 2024, planning applications for Dublin City will be made via the National Online Planning Portal, at this link Local Government Ireland Planning System

Dublin City Council's current online service Citizen Portal Planning (agileapplications.ie)shall remain to be used to submit further information if requested for planning applications submitted via this service before Wednesday 4th September 2024. It shall also remain to be used to search for a planning application and to make a planning observation. Any unfinished applications on Citizen Portal Planning (agileapplications.ie)must be submitted and successful payment completed before 23.59hrs on Wednesday 4th September 2024.
