Another Poll Shows Statistical Tie in New Hampshire, Ayotte Still Underwater with Granite Staters

Union Leader: "On abortion rights, 71% of Republicans and 88% of independents said they would oppose an abortion ban."

A new poll from Amplify NH shows New Hampshire's governor's race continues to be neck and neck between Joyce Craig and Kelly Ayotte, with Joyce up 46-45%, the Union Leader reports. The poll also once again confirms a majority of Granite Staters - 50% - view Kelly Ayotte unfavorably, continuing the trend from St. Anselm College and the University of New Hampshire, both of which showed a close race and Kelly Ayotte's favorability underwater.

Also notable was voters' views on abortion bans, which Kelly Ayotte has supported and voted for during her time in the U.S. Senate. According to the Union Leader, "71% of Republicans and 88% of independents said they would oppose an abortion ban," putting Ayotte far out of touch even with members of her own party as well as a large percentage of Granite State voters across party lines.

"Each of these new polls confirms a hard truth for Kelly Ayotte: the more Granite Staters learn about her, the less they like and trust her," said DGA States Press Secretary Emma O'Brien. "Whether it's her well-documented anti-abortion record, her decision to go back on her word to embrace Trump, or her work on corporate boards selling out renters and hard-working Americans, Granite Staters know they can't trust Kelly Ayotte and that she doesn't have their best interests at heart. Come November, Granite Staters will reject Kelly Ayotte once and for all."
