Weekly APA Public Comment Periods Announcement


RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comment on projects currently under review. The public is encouraged to go online to learn more about each public comment opportunity and to submit comments electronically.

At present, the following projects are available for comment at https://apa.ny.gov/Hearings/index.cfm:

• Replacement of two existing 4-foot culvert pipes with a 10-foot box culvert on Hardscrabble Road over Ryans Brook in the Town of Saranac, Clinton County

• Replacement of an existing on-site wastewater treatment system within 100 feet of Pleasant Lake, with a new on-site wastewater treatment system within 100 feet of wetlands in the Town of Stratford, Fulton County

• Subdivision of a 129.76-acre parcel to create three building lots for the construction of a single-family dwelling on each and two vacant lots to be merged with adjoining lands that contain existing development, plus the creation of a 57.62-acre lot for the construction of seven single family dwellings to be used as tourist accommodations in the Town of Jay, Essex County
