Hall County Animal services rescued 24 dogs Wednesday, Dec. 11 from a residence located in the 6000 block of Whispering Pines in Buford.
Following a report to the Hall County Animal Shelter, Hall County Animal Control, with the assistance of the Hall County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant on the property. Upon entry, officers found 24 dogs and several violations, including poor sanitation and lack of space.
This case is under investigation by Hall County Animal Control. Further details may be released as they become available.
Impounds involving multiple animals pose a critical need for adoptions and fostering. Those interested in adopting or fostering can visit the shelter during regular business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or visit the Hall County Animal Shelter online to browse its adoptable pets.
