ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - A project to resurface portions of U.S. Route 71 moved to its next section today, Tuesday, July 2. Due to the holiday, work will stop on Wednesday, July 3, resume on Monday, July 8.

Once this section is complete, the contractor will continue to complete the remaining four sections of U.S. Route 71 north and southbound between the intersection of Business 71 near Maryville to the intersection of Route T near Savannah. The project is scheduled to be completed by September.
