Roll Out to the Library this September for Library Card Sign-Up Month
Celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month this September with Round Rock Public Library and the American Library Association! We're inviting everyone to discover the incredible resources and opportunities available at your local library by signing up for a library card.
This year, we're thrilled to have Optimus Prime from the TRANSFORMERS as our special ambassador, highlighting that there's more than meets the eye at Round Rock Public Library. Whether you're looking to enhance your skills, find valuable information, or connect with fellow avid readers, a library card unlocks a world of possibilities.
Today's libraries are vibrant community centers offering much more than just books. At Round Rock Public Library, you'll find a variety of programs, access to technology, resources and services to pursue your passions and dreams, and much more! Your library card also allows you access to movies, audiobooks, ebooks, and music.

Did you know? This September, the Round Rock Public Library will be hosting local pop-up library events in Round Rock. We will be providing residents and non-residents with an opportunity to sign up for a library card without visiting the Library! Click the link below to see where we will be in the community! Do you want a chance to win our grand prize? During Library Card Sign-Up Month, we will also have a social media contest that allows you to be automatically entered for a grand prize.
Here's how you can participate:
- Stop by the library between September 1-30 and take a photo with our oversized library card
- Post your photo to your social media account and tag Round Rock Public Library to be automatically entered into our prize drawing
- Tell all of your friends/family about the promotion and encourage them to participate, too!

The winner will be contacted via social media when the contest is over during the month of October.
