Community Development building to close for 1-day construction project

The La Plata County Community Development Department will be closed to the public on Monday, July 8 while construction is being performed on the department's building at 211 Rock Point Drive in the Durango Tech Center.

Building and Planning division staff will be working remotely and can field phone calls and respond to emails, etc.

As a reminder, the Community Development Department, and all La Plata County offices, will be closed in recognition of Independence Day on Thursday, July 4, and the Community Development Department, following their regular scheduled hours of business, will be closed to the public on Friday, July 5, with the exception of any inspections and meetings that are scheduled in advance.
