Arson on Rossland Avenue, police seeking witnesses

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, October 10, 2024 1:20 pm

(Ottawa) - The Ottawa Police Service is investigating an arson that occurred at a residential building in the 1-100 block of Rossland Avenue on October 8th.

At approximately 3:45 am, officers attended the area as part of a tiered response with Ottawa Fire Services and the Ottawa Paramedic Service for a residential fire. Two people suffered serious injuries in the fire.

Police are looking for anyone with doorbell camera or video surveillance footage of suspicious activity in the area between 3:00 am and 4:00 am on October 8th.
