New Refuse and Recycling Services

FOX LAKE, IL (Month, Year) - We want to inform you that Waste Management has commenced the distribution of new toters (containers) to all residents within our community.

We are pleased to announce that this initiative is part of our new contract terms and conditions, which provides an all-inclusive rate for refuse and recycling services. This will include both a recycling toter and a newly introduced Waste Management garbage toter.

We acknowledge that this represents a change from our previous policy, which permitted residents to utilize their own containers. The transition to exclusively using Waste Management toters is designed to enhance safety and create a less hazardous working environment for Waste Management staff. Additionally, this change aims to improve the overall cleanliness, health, and well-being of our community, as we strive for a better and improved Fox Lake.

We encourage residents to visit our website to explore the numerous benefits associated with the new contract, which became effective on November 1, 2024. Residents will have the opportunity to request toter sizes based on their residential classification, potentially allowing for a reduction in monthly expenses.
