Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Thailand paid a courtesy call on Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs

On 31 July 2024, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs discussed with H.E. Mr. Walid Abu Ali, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Thailand, with residence in Kuala Lumpur.

Both sides discussed ways to further enhance Thailand-Palestine relations, which has spanned for over 12 years. Both sides also expressed their readiness to promote bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interests.

Both sides exchanged insights on the situation in the Middle East, particularly in Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Ambassador to Thailand commended Thailand's role in providing humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC).
