Guided Hike, Deam Lake SRA

Meet the Naturalist at the overflow lot by the Campground Gatehouse for this 9am hike. We will begin heading counterclockwise along Deam Lake Loop (Yellow Trail), come out near the Office/Nature Center, and finish the hike by heading North on Trail 2 from the Apple Orchard Picnic Shelter (about 2.5 miles total). This is a moderate hike, and participants are encouraged to wear close-toed shoes and bring their own water, food, sunscreen, and insect repellent. We will take time to explore trees, flowers, and the early signs of fall. Rain or shine, but this event will be canceled in the event of severe weather.
