As part of his working trip to the Odesa region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting to discuss the security situation in the region.

Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper reported on the preparations for the heating season, the protection of energy facilities, the connection of floating power plants, and the construction of fortifications in the region.

During the meeting, the parties discussed compensation for people whose homes have been destroyed, the operation of port infrastructure, and the functioning of the grain corridor.

The Head of State also heard reports on the operational and criminogenic situation.

Head of the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service Yuriy Petriv provided information about the situation on the state border in the Odesa region.
