Palmetto Park Bascule Bridge Closure

​The Palmetto Park Bascule Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway will be closed from 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, to 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2024, for essential machinery replacement and regular maintenance by the Palm Beach County Engineering and Public Works (EPW), Bridge Section. During this 12-hour closure, both vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be redirected. Drivers should use the Spanish River Boulevard Bridge via NE 5th Avenue, U.S. Highway 1, and Alternate A1A for detour routes. EPW appreciates the community's patience and understanding during this temporary closure. We are committed to enhancing the safety and efficiency of the County's infrastructure.
