Finnlines has been a Golden Partner and Official Carrier for the Helsinki International Horse Show for many years. Hundreds of horses travel on Finnlines' Helsinki-Travemünde and Naantali-Kapellskär routes every year.

The transport of horses by sea must be planned carefully to ensure that the horses will keep fit. These horses are not only top competitors, but also worth of enormous amount of money. Finnlines' long experience is an asset especially when these type of horses are transported. Some horses are relaxed travellers, others may suffer from stress during the passage.

Helsinki International Horse Show is an annual event that brings the world-class riders to Helsinki. Amateurs, future stars and champion riders attend the Show, which will take place in the Helsinki Ice Hall on 23-27 October. The Show offers both top sport and entertainment for all age groups. Finnlines will be visible in the Saturday Night Fever programme in International Finnlines 150 cm, Longines ranking -class. The highlight is Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ on Sunday afternoon.
