City of Corpus Christi Taking Applications to Reduce Homeless and Stabilize Housing

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi has released three Notices of Funding Available (NOFA) to reduce homelessness and stabilize housing. Non-profits, Public Housing Authorities, and quasi-governmental agencies are encouraged to apply.

The HOME Investment Partnerships Program American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) has two NOFAs. The first NOFA offers up to $2,000,000 for Supportive Services, while the second provides up to $1,160,454 for Tenant-Based Rental Assistance. In addition, funds will be available for operations, capacity building, and administrative purposes.

The HOME-ARP is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The third NOFA is for Homeless Housing and Services Program (HHSP) funds provided by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. A total of $217,309 is available for essential services, homeless assistance, and prevention efforts.
