Secretary General of ASEAN delivers keynote remarks at the Jakarta Forum on ASEAN China Relations

Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this morning delivered a keynote speech at the Jakarta Forum on ASEAN-China Relations with the theme "Bridging and Bonding by Connectivity," aligning with Lao PDR's ASEAN Chairmanship theme of "ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience," and in support of 2024 as the ASEAN-China Year of People-People Exchanges.

The Forum was held in Jakarta, Indonesia and brought together key stakeholders to exchange valuable insights, identify challenges and opportunities, as well as suggested key recommendations towards enhancing connectivity with the aim of bringing ASEAN and China closer together and promoting inclusive development across all the ASEAN Member States.
