18th Street Reconstruction Project Wrapping Up

AUGUST 30, 2024 - The 18th Street Reconstruction Project is wrapping up with two-way traffic being allowed again on 18th Street from 53rd Avenue to St. Andrews Circle as well as 56th Avenue West from Falcon Avenue to 18th Street.

Crews are expected to complete landscaping and clean-up work the week of September 2nd with the project completed by September 6th (weather permitting).

APRIL 11, 2024 - Beginning Monday, April 15^th, 2024, work begins on 18^th Street from 53^rd Avenue to St. Andrews Circle as crews reconstruct the roadway.

To ensure the safety of the traveling public and the construction workers onsite, 18^th Street will be reduced to one-way traffic northbound from 53^rd Avenue to St. Andrews Circle and one-way traffic westbound on 56^th Avenue West. This traffic change will last for the duration of the project and a detour will be in place (see map below).

This project is expected to take approximately four months, weather permitting.
