NYLPI Names Caroline Chen as its Environmental Justice Director

New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI) proudly announces the appointment of Caroline Chen as its new Director of Environmental Justice (EJ), following her role as Senior Supervising Counsel within NYLPI's EJ Program.
In her time at NYLPI, she has demonstrated supportive leadership, energy, integrity, critical litigation skills, and a deep commitment to community lawyering.
Caroline brings nearly two decades of litigation experience in federal, state and civil courts, where she represented hundreds of clients in housing, civil rights, and commercial matters. She has an LLM in Environmental Law with a specialization in Energy and Climate Change Law and received her bachelor's degree from McGill University.
Caroline most recently served as supervising attorney at Mobilization for Justice and is a trained arbitrator.
Caroline is fluent in Spanish, Mandarin, and Taiwanese.
