EDTL A690: Role of Higher Education in the American Democracy
Instructor Jonathon Sanders will teach EDTL A690 in spring 2025. The course will examine the mission of higher education, democracy theory, the purpose of an undergraduate degree, trends and issues and social/cultural movements on aspects of higher education in the context of democracy in the U.S.
