Finnegan Adds Another Patent Attorney as Counsel to its Munich Team

Munich-Finnegan expanded its European patent litigation practice with the addition of Jonathan Wurth, who joined the firm as Counsel on July 1, 2024.

Jonathan holds a degree in chemistry and is admitted as a German Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney and UPC representative. His practice focuses on patent infringement and validity proceedings in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and life sciences. He also handles patent applications and advises on employee invention law.

Jonathan studied and obtained his doctorate at the University of Freiburg, specializing in polymer chemistry, and then completed his training as a patent attorney at a renowned patent law firm. In 2018, he joined Bird & Bird, where he was primarily involved in international patent litigation.
