The Arnold P. Gold Foundation Awards Essay Prize to LECOM Second-Year Student

[Link]The second-place winner in the 2024 Dr. Hope Babette Tang Humanism in Healthcare Essay Contest (through The Arnold P. Gold Foundation) is an essay penned by Noor Ahmed, a second-year Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) scholar.

An Arnold P. Gold Foundation representative notified Noor that her essay entitled, Apartment 5 on Dolphin Drive, was selected for the second place honors in the Essay Contest.

The Contest is extremely competitive, and the panel of judges found Noor's piece moving, thought-provoking, and reflective.

The Prize includes a $500 stipend and publication in the Academic Medicine Journal and in The Journal of Professional Nursing.
