Prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan discussed

On November 26, 2024, in Lisbon (Portugal) First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Ahmad Siddiqui.

During the meeting, the issues of deepening political, trade and economic cooperation were discussed. The parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in mutually beneficial areas.

Particular attention was paid to the prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of ensuring interregional connectivity between Central and South Asia.

The parties also reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral visits at high levels to further develop cooperation.
