Cashback Rewards on National Food Holidays

If you like to earn cashback rewards for dining and want to support local restaurants, you will want to take advantage of a special promotion underway that coincides with several upcoming national food holidays.

This promotion is part of the City's newest initiative, Keep it Local: Shop Diamond Bar First, to encourage everyone who lives and works in town to support and invest in the community by choosing to shop and dine locally.

The National Food Holidays promotion runs through November, and includes National French Fry Day and National Ice Cream Day in July, Taco Tuesday in August, National "I Love Food" Day and National Coffee Day in September, National Dessert Day, National Taco Day, and National Sandwich Day in October, and National Pizza Day in November.

During specified weeks each month, you can get 10% back in rewards on purchases made at select eateries.

To participate, download the free Open Rewards: Shop Local app, by Bludot Technologies, Inc., on your smartphone using the App Store or Google Play, and create an account.

If you link your credit or debit card, the rewards will be applied automatically to your account. Alternatively, you can upload a photo of your receipt and once verified, the rewards will be applied. Rewards remain in your account until you redeem them on your next purchase, either by applying it toward the transaction or requesting a cashback payout.
