Chicago Park District Hosts Three Vendor Information Sessions

Three networking events welcome local minority and women owned enterprises to learn more about doing business with the Chicago Park District


The Chicago Park District invites local business owners, corporate representatives and vendors to the "Grow Your Business with the Chicago Park District" Vendor Information Sessions. In-person sessions are being held at three park locations and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pre-registration is available here.

  • Session 1: Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Douglass Cultural Center, 1401 S. Sacramento Dr.
  • Session 2: Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Warren Park, 6601 N. Western Ave.
  • Session 3: Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 S. South Shore Dr.

The annual Vendor Network Event offers a valuable opportunity for minority and women owned businesses interested in doing business with local government to interact with the representatives from the Chicago Park District. Representatives from a wide variety of internal departments, including Facilities, Planning & Construction, Cultural & Natural Resources, Revenue, Comptroller, and Purchasing will be on hand to answer questions from interested business owners and potential vendors.

Aspiring business owners can also connect with other MBE/ WBE as well as learn the steps necessary for doing business with government agencies directly from staff with the Chicago Park District.
