NRCC Chairman Hudson Announces Micah Yousefi as Executive Director for 2026 Cycle

December 12, 2024

NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson (R-NC) and members of House Republican leadership announced Micah Yousefi will serve as Executive Director of the NRCC for the upcoming 2026 election cycle. Yousefi served as Deputy Executive Director for the successful 2024 cycle in which Republicans held the House majority.

Speaker Mike Johnson: "Micah Yousefi has helped House Republicans expand our coalition and numbers over multiple successful cycles. As NRCC Deputy Executive Director this past election, Micah was instrumental in recruiting strong candidates and leading efforts to defend our majority. I look forward to continuing to work with Micah, Chairman Richard Hudson, and the entire team as we work to keep and grow our majority in 2026."

Majority Leader Steve Scalise: "It's been a pleasure working with Micah Yousefi over the course of the cycle and I look forward to continuing our efforts to defend and grow our Republican House Majority. Congratulations, Micah, on being named the NRCC's new Executive Director!"

Majority Whip Tom Emmer: "Micah Yousefi has the leadership qualities and political acumen we need to win in 2026. We look forward to working with her to defend the House and deliver for the American people." NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson: "Micah Yousefi has been a key part of every major strategic decision at the NRCC that led to Republicans holding the House majority in 2024. As Deputy Executive Director, Micah led the charge on the Million Dollar Mission that routed hard dollars into battleground campaigns, and ran our highly successful hybrid advertising program that allowed our candidates to get on air earlier. As Executive Director, Micah's sharp strategic and tactical mind puts House Republicans in strong position to hold the House majority again in 2026."

Micah Yousefi served as Deputy Executive Director in the 2024 cycle and spearheaded the successful hybrid advertising program. A Maryland native, Micah was the Deputy Director for the NRSC Independent Expenditure Unit for the 2022 cycle. Prior to that, Micah served as Policy and Political Director at Winning for Women. Previously, Micah served as Campaign Manager for Rep. Karen Handel, Women's Engagement Director for the National Republican Congressional Committee, and as a legislative aide to Rep. Bill Shuster (PA).
