The cold wallet stores keys and conducts signing operations offline with air-gapped keys. The Institutional Wallet's online front-end offers real time reporting and policy enforcement for all transactions, including staking and unstaking.

Self-hosting offers control, but maintaining servers and updating software can be challenging.

That's why we've integrated Blockdaemon Institutional Wallet with both AWS and Azure cloud services. These integrations allow institutions to use automated scripts to install and configure their wallet in secure, confidential environments across one or multiple cloud providers.

In this model, the institution retains complete and exclusive control over its wallets and hosting infrastructure. Blockdaemon never has visibility to or control over the wallet unless invited by a wallet admin for support services.
