East Precinct Detectives Working To Identify Two Assault Suspects

East Precinct detectives are working to identify two men responsible for the July 2nd assault of a Dollar General employee on Dickerson Pike. The suspect, seen on surveillance camera footage wearing shorts, entered the store and asked to put $400 on a gift card, which the employee found suspicious and refused the transaction.

The suspect then went behind the counter and punched the employee before leaving. He returned a short time later to fight the employee again, this time with the second suspect, seen in attached photos wearing pants, who also punched the employee.

Both suspects left the scene in a newer model Nissan SUV with a Texas tag.

The employee had minor injuries and refused medical assistance at the scene.
