SUNLAND PARK, New Mexico (November 16, 2024) - The Reserve Townhomes, a new for-rent community in Sunland Park, New Mexico, celebrated its grand opening on November 16, 2024, as the first multifamily development in the area in over two decades. Offering modern living in the heart of the Borderland, the community features smart home technology, private enclosed patios and no neighbors above or below each unit, providing renters with the perfect blend of comfort, privacy and low-maintenance living. Residents will also benefit from convenient on-site EV charging stations, supporting a more sustainable lifestyle.
"There is strong need for a diverse set of housing options across the greater El Paso and Sunland Park communities and we are proud to play a role in addressing that need with The Reserve Townhomes," said Nick Boggs, Managing Partner of The Reserve Townhomes. "The community provides many of the lifestyle benefits you would enjoy in a single-family home but at a more attainable price point and without the burden of maintaining a single-family home."
The event included a special ribbon cutting ceremony where representatives from El Paso Electric (EPE) inaugurated the community's EV charging stations, marking the first installation of EPE's Take Charge New Mexico program.
"With 80% of EV drivers charging at home, this program is about making it easier for more people in our community to access reliable charging," said Angie Rodriguez, Supervisor of Electrification of Transportation. "Through our Take Charge New Mexico program, we cover the equipment and installation costs for qualifying businesses, helping bring convenient charging options to customers in our community. It's a step toward ensuring everyone has the opportunity to embrace clean transportation."
