"I'd say things are looking very well here," Johnson said Aug. 16. His farm received between 1 to 1.5 inches of rain last week, which will help finish out both corn and beans. Johnson said he had seen some aphid pressure on beans, prompting pesticide applications the last couple weeks. Meanwhile, he has been busy bringing in a fresh herd of pigs onto his farm.
