Leader McConnell Meets With John Ratcliffe

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) issued the following statement today on his meeting with John Ratcliffe:

"I was glad to meet today with President-elect Trump's nominee to serve as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe. In the face of a growing array of coordinated threats, America will rely as much as ever on the intelligence professionals of the CIA. In turn, the agency will rely on Mr. Ratcliffe's steady leadership and sound judgment to fulfill its core missions of collecting foreign intelligence and providing policymakers with objective analysis."
